Algerian solidarity minister Djamel Oueld Abbas said Monday he has an incriminating video tape on attacks against Algerian fans in Egypt following Saturday’s match.

“Egyptian fans also attacked the Algerian ministers in Cairo Stadium and hissed the Algerian national anthem,” Ouled Abbas told Echorouk.

“It is a shame for Egypt,” he added.

He also said the Algerian embassy’s press release on killed fans is based on information brought by the Egyptian interior ministry.

Egypt says no person was killed among the Algerian fans while witnesses said they saw people being killed.

“We were victims of a play with the hypocrisy of Egyptian authorities.”

Oueld Abbas said he shouted “Shame on you Egypt” when he saw Egyptian fan hissing the Algerian national anthem.

He added that somebody threw a big bag of beans on him when the second Egyptian goal was scored.
